As noted before, there are parallels worth noticing in current events where ISIS has sway. Unlike the 1930s, however, this time the West has seen fit to import large numbers of people who, if not quite yet holding to the ISIS banner, at least are fertile ground for recruiting. This self-inflicted fifth column will be significant in the years ahead, I suspect. No matter what the open borders advocates claim, geography does not magically reset one’s culture and worldview. By allowing the West to be overrun by immigrants who not only don’t share its values, but have no intention of adopting them, this generation of “leaders” will have much to account for in the eyes of history.
